The Byadgi market has witnessed a significant price surge in cold-storage Red Chilli due to the high demand for export. To meet the growing demand, a daily supply of 2800 bags from cold-storage is being reported on Thursday, and this quantity is expected to increase further in response to the higher prices.
Despite the price increase, the market has remained stable and favorable, primarily due to consistent demand from major importers such as China, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. However, the stability of prices will depend on current weather conditions and the clarity surrounding the upcoming sowing expectations.
